Fantastic busy week, the centre of which were the Dahlicious celebrations at Blackhall primary school in Edinburgh. The Roald Dahl foundation organises this day of fun for school children across the UK to raise funds for the charities it supports. This was a great excuse to try my hand at a larger cake and I set about constructing a 'wonky' cake. I was really pleased with the results and the school held a ballot to see which class won and demolished the cake! Photos pre-demolition are in the website gallery. We also made special ice-cream style cupcakes which really looked the part. Other orders this week included a giant cupcake to celebrate a new baby girl and hand delivered cupcake gift boxes to say thank you - what a perfect gift!
